Girl Scout Uniform

Learn more about the Girl Scout uniform and how to wear it properly.

The Girl Scout uniform is different at each level.  Each level has a required element like a tunic, sash, or vest for displaying pins and awards.  The full Girl Scout Uniform must be worn when Scouts are out and about representing the Girl Scout movement or participating in ceremonies.

The basic Girl Scout uniform for girls 5 to 14 years old is a white shirt with khaki pants or a skirt and a tunic, vest, or sash for the display or pins and awards.  High school aged Girl Scouts may also wear a scarf.
